40% wool, machine-washable
We've made a lot of 40% wool blankets - first the heavier, really warm ones, and now using the lightweight (worsted) version of the same yarn. The blanket is over 25% lighter and would never be too warm. This color is guava (the pink kind), but we don't think there's enough pink in it to say it's definitely for girls only.
